NCAA Water Polo Championship to Begin Friday at Aztec Aquaplex

The National Collegiate Women's Water Polo Championship is set to begin Friday with the first of four games slated for 12:30 p.m. PT at Aztec Aquaplex on the campus of San Diego State University. The three-day national championship tournament will feature four games on each day and will culminate with the title match on Sunday at 5 p.m.
Stanford is the top-seeded squad in the field and is followed by USC, UCLA, California, Michigan, Loyola Marymount, Marist and Pomona-Pitzer. The Women of Troy and the Red Foxes will kick things off on Friday with the Bruins and Lions squaring off at 2:15 p.m., the Cardinal and Sagehens slated for 4 p.m. and the Wolverines and Bruins scheduled for 5:45 p.m.
All games with the exception of the winner's bracket semifinals and title game will have live audio streamed online at GoAztecs.com. The aforementioned semifinals will have live audio and video, which will also be available at GoAztecs.com. Sunday's championship tilt will be broadcast live on CBS College Sports (San Diego Cox Cable channel 321, San Diego Time Warner channel 415, DirecTV channel 613, Dish Network channel 152). Live stats for every game will also be available at GoAztecs.com.
All-session passes are currently available for $50 for adults and $25 for youth ages 3-14, seniors 55 and older, students, military and faculty/staff with appropriate identification. These passes can be purchased online at GoAztecs.com, by phone at (619) 283-7378, or in person at the Aztec Ticket Office at Qualcomm Stadium, Window E.
Single-day passes, meanwhile, go on sale May 14, which is the first day of the Championships. Adults may attend for $20, while youth (3-14), seniors (55+), students, military and faculty/staff tickets are $12 with appropriate ID. Single-day passes can be purchased by calling the Aztec Ticket Office, visiting Window E at Qualcomm Stadium or at the Tony Gwynn Stadium box office.
