SAN DIEGO - San Diego State sophomore Decontee Kaye was listed as the nation's ninth-best triple jumper in trackwire.com's Dandy Dozen list released May 14.

Kaye's recognition comes after a stellar outing at the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships last weekend at SDSU Sports Deck, where she completed a leap of 43 feet, 10.75 inches en route to the triple jump title. Her effort surpassed her school-record breaking performance at the California Collegiate Challenge and qualified her for the NCAA West Regionals.

Kaye and the Aztecs return to action May 25-26 when they travel to Eugene, Ore., for the NCAA Regionals.
