Outdoor Track and Field: Had an outstanding freshman campaign, where she came just 0.01 seconds of qualifying for the NCAA Championships in the 100 meters ... ended up taking 13th in the 100 at the NCAA West Prelims on May 24 with the top 12 moving onto the NCAA Finals ... ran a time of 11.58 in the preliminary heat on May 23, the seventh-fastest wind-legal time in school history ... also camp up short in the 200, taking 18th in the finals in 23.92 (top 12 advanced to the NCAA Finals) ... had a fantastic debut at the MW Championships on May 10-11, winning three events in the 100 (11.78), 200 (23.23) and as a member of the 4x400-meter relay (3:35.41) ... the 23.23 in the finals of the 200 was the second-fastest time in program history ... ran a pair of 11.31's in the prelims and finals of the 100, but both were wind-aided ... also was a part of the eighth-place 4x100 relay in 47.47 ... made her outdoor debut at the San Diego Championships on March 9, coming in 15th in the 800 (2:29.84) in her only 800 of the season ... ran a leg of the winning 4x400-meter relay at the Cal/Nevada Championships on March 30 in 3:43.01 ... in her only open 400 of the year, ran a 56.11 at the CSUSM Mangrum Invitational on April 6 ... doubled up in the open 100 and open 200 at the prestigious Mt. SAC Relays on April 19, taking eighth (11.81) and 11th (23.88), respectively ... ran in the 4x400 (11th, 3:41.35) and the 4x200 (16th, 1:37.06) at the Penn Relays on April 25-26 ... came in fourth in the 100 at the Occidental Invitational (May 4) in 11.69.
Indoor Track and Field: Ran in two races in her Aztec debut ... debuted in the 800 at the Cherry & Silver Invitational on Jan. 19, but did not finish the race ... took fourth in the 400 at the New Mexico Classic on Feb. 2 in the ninth-fastest time in school history of 55.92.
Comes to SDSU as one of the most decorated recruits in program history ... was a nine-time Tennessee state champion (individual and team) and the Tennessee State Gatorade Athlete of the Year in 2011 ... finished 2011 as the No. 2 sprinter in the nation ... was the 2011 AAU national runner-up in the 100 meters and has never lost an individual sprint race in her career ... owns personal-best times of 11.46 in the 100 (would be No. 4 all-time at SDSU), 23.71 in the 200 (would be No. 8 all-time at SDSU) and 53.23 in the 400 (would be No. 8 all-time at SDSU).
