One of the nation’s premier heptathletes.

2000: Redshirted the outdoor campaign... Captured second straight conference pentathlon title with a score of 3,902 at the Mountain West Indoor Championships...Won meet’s high points award, scoring in the 400 meters (7th place, 59.26), 60 hurdles (7th, 8.87), long jump (4th, 18-11 1/4) and high jump (6th, 5-7 1/4) in addition to winning in the pentathlon ...Competed at the U.S. Olympic Trials in the heptathlon, placing ninth with a PR of 5596 ...Also set PRs in the long jump (20-2 1/2) and high jump (5-8 1/2) at the trials.

1999: Won the heptathlon at WAC Outdoor Championships, with 5,152 points, provisionally qualifying for NCAAs...Also the WAC Indoor Pentathlon champion...Ran 1:00.85 in the 400 hurdles at Florida Relays, the 10th-best time ever at SDSU in that event...Set PRs of 14.42 in 100 hurdles, 24.67 in 200 and 19-5 1/2 in the long jump at WAC Outdoors...Twice cleared then personal-best 5-7 3/4 in the high jump at both WAC Indoor and Outdoor Championships.

1998: Took second-place honors at the WAC Championships and provisionally qualified for NCAAs in the heptathlon (5,146 points) in only second attempt at the event...Established season-best mark in the high jump at the Aztec Invite with a leap of 5-7.

Prior to SDSU: Attended Washington State where she was a varsity letterwinner as a freshman...Earned most improved academic honors.

High School: While attending Evergreen High School in Vancouver, Wash., was named Athlete of the Year in 1996...A three-time MVP in track as well as MVP in cross country...Also awarded the Al Lempke Scholarship Award her senior year...Had personal best marks of 5-6 in the high jump and 57.20 in the 400 meters.
