Outdoor Track and Field: Competed in the 800 at the MWC Championships...had a fifth place finish and a season best in the 400 (59.79) at the San Diego City Championships ... also at the same event took 11th in the 1,500 (4:57.34) ... had a tenth-place showing in the 800 at the USC Trojan Invitational, finishing with a time of 2:18.09 ... came back the following week to improve her time to 2:15.80 ... ran her best 800 (2:14.90) among a competitive field at the Mt. Sac Relays on April 16 ... finished up the regular season running a solid 2:15.06 (800) at the Steve Scott Invitational.
Indoor Track and Field: Competed in the 800 (2:19.39) and the distance medley relay at the MWC Championships ... relay took seventh with a time of 12.26.39 ... doubled at the Mountain T's Invitational on Jan. 3, taking second in the 800 (2:20.85) and sixth in the Mile (5:50.64) ... managed to shave a couple seconds off her time in the 800 (2.17.84) next week at the New Mexico Classic ... at the same event, was a member of the quartet that ran 3:59.0 in the 4x400-meter relay.
Cross Country: Ran in two races ... debuted at the Aztec Invitational, where she took 51st of 94 in 21:05.0 over the 5K course ... also participated at the Mountain West Conference Championships, covering the 6,000-meter course at elevation in Provo, Utah, in 25:12.2.
2008-09
Outdoor Track and Field: Ran the 800 and 1,500 throughout the season ... took second in 1,500 at the UCSD Quad Meet in 4:58.11 on Feb. 21 ... put together a nice double at the San Diego City Championships on March 7, taking fifth in the 800 (2:19.18) and third in the 1,500 (4:53.63) ... followed with another good showing at the Aztec Invitational (second in her heat of the 1,500 (4:45.19), a season best, and third in her heat of the 800 (2:17.10) ... had a pair of top-10 finishes at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational on April 24 with an eighth-place showing in the 800 (section three) (2:16.94) and ninth-place finish in the 1,500 (section two) (4:46.56) ... might have had her best day on May 3 at the Steve Scott Invitational where she ran a collegiate-best time of 2:14.91 in the 800 and just missed a personal best in the 1,500 (4:45.56).
Indoor Track and Field: Ran the 1,000 in 3:06.35 at the APU Indoor Qualfier on Feb. 13, taking sixth.
Cross Country: Ran in the first two races of the season ... was 95th at the Fullerton Season Opener, clocking a 21:15.80 over the 5K course ... ran a 22:14.00 at the Aztec Invitational on Sept. 13.
