Compiled a 6-2 record in singles competition...Started the season by advancing to the finals of the USD Fall Classic...She fell in the finals to teammate Katja Karrento, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2...Won Flight B of the SDSU Fall Classic by defeating teammate Whitney Wells...Beat Cal Poly’s Stephanie Westrich, 6-1, 6-0, in the first round of the ITA regionals.
1999-2000 Season
Had an outstanding sophomore campaign, finishing with a 22-9 overall record and 17-6 in dual match...Competed for most of the year in the No. 5 spot, where she compiled a 15-3 mark...Ended the season on a four-match winning streak, including three straight wins during the MWC Tournament...Won her only match during NCAA Regionals, defeating Jakie Spicijaric of South Florida in straight sets...Won 10 of her final 11 and 17-of-19 to close out the year...Won the UC Irvine Blue & Gold Invitational during the fall...Won seven straight matches from March 3rd to the 21st, all in straight sets, for the longest winning streak of the season...Teamed with Lindsey Hedberg in doubles to go 8-3 in the No. 2 and 3 positions.
1998-99 Season
Posted a 6-5 record in her freshman campaign...Won her first three matches at San Diego State...Split her time playing in SDSU’s No. 5 and 6 singles slots...Recorded a 5-1 record at No. 6 with all five of her wins coming in straight sets...Teamed with Julie Chidley to defeat Perico/Hubasko of Long Beach State, 8-3.
