CALIFORNIA BANK AND TRUST STUDENT ATHLETES OF THE WEEK IS IS WOMEN'S SWIMMING STAR Mikaela Macklin.

• Last Saturday Mikaela led the Aztecs to victory over UNLV as she captured first place in the 200m butterfly, 200m breaststroke, and the 200m individual medley.

• The Aztecs took first and second place in another 200m medley with Mikaela's team finishing only .35 seconds behind another Aztec foursome that took first.

• Last year she was involved in three events that recorded all-time SDSU records and was named a Mountain West Scholar Athlete and member of the All-Academic Team.

• Mikaela was born in Auburn, California and is majoring in public relations.
