FORT COLLINS, Colo. - San Diego State junior Meghan Casillan (Huntington Beach, Calif.) won her fifth event of the season but it was not enough as the Colorado State women's swim team defeated San Diego State 148-83 Friday afternoon.

Casillan won the 200-yard breaststroke by more than four seconds, covering the distance in a time of 2:25.10. Other first-place finishes for San Diego State included freshman Megan Storey (Edmonds, Wash.) in the 100-yard freestyle, sophomore Erin Kilpatrick (Pleasanton, Calif.) in the 200-yard freestyle and junior Tara Johnson (Kirkland, Wash.) in the 200-yard fly.

In addition to winning events, Storey and Kirkpatrick each recorded an additional top-three finish. Storey placed third in the 200-yard fly, while Kirkpatrick finished third in the 100-yard freestyle and helped the 400-yard relay team to third place.

San Diego State is back in action tomorrow when the Aztecs swim against Air Force.
