After a fourth- and fifth-place finish in the 800-meter freestyle, sophomore Caitlin Friedhoff put in a second-place effort with a time of 2:10.69 in the 200-meter freestyle.
During the next four events, SDSU had no swimmer finish higher than third-place. In the eighth event of the day, junior diver Lindsey Minnich set a season-high score of 225.00 in the one-meter diving competition.
The Aztecs will be back in action Feb. 23-26, when they swim at the MWC Championships in Oklahoma City, Okla.
