LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The San Diego State women's swim team (3-7 dual) closed out its regular season Saturday with a 148-56 loss to UNLV at Buchanan Natatorium.

Aztec junior Heather DeFelice scored a team season best in the 200 breaststroke with her second-place (2:22.40) finish.

Freshman Megan Storey earned two second-place finishes. She swam the 1,000 freestyle in 10:24.18 and the 500 free in 5:08.89. She has now placed in the top three 18 times this season, including first in 14 events.

SDSU had two other second-place finishes - freshman Hannah Ryan in the 200 free (1:56.18) and Erin Kilpatrick in the 400 IM (4:36.69).

The Aztecs will take some time off from competition to prepare for the Mountain West Conference Championships to be held Feb. 14-17 in Oklahoma City.
