IRVINE, Calif. - The San Diego State swimming team completed the final day of the 26th Annual UCI/Ayres Hotel & Suites Invitational on Sunday with third-place finish in the relay portion of the meet. TCU won the five-team competition with 430 points, followed by the host Anteaters (405), the Aztecs (338), Cal Poly (160) and Pepperdine (150).

The SDSU "A" team took fifth in the 400-medley relay in a season-best time of 4 minutes, 8.97 seconds, 0.64 seconds faster than their previous best on December 17.

The Aztecs also picked up a pair of second places in the 300 butterfly relay (3:02.96) and the 300 individual medley relay (3:09.63), and were third in three other relays - 400 free (3:39.01), 800 free (8:08.11) and 300 breaststroke (3:32.51)

SDSU will next be in action on Jan. 13 when they compete in a non-conference meet at Hawai'i.
