Became one of SDSU’s top freestyle swimmers as a freshman last season…Showed versatility by also competing in the backstroke and individual medley…Appears among the top five all-time SDSU times in the 200 backstroke plus two relay events.

2002-03: Earned all-Mountain West Conference second-team honors after posting a seventh-place finish in the 200 backstroke at the league championship meet…Her mark of 2:05.12 at that event ranks as third-fastest in the history of the program…Finished 12th in the 500 freestyle at the same meet…Also swam on the 800 freestyle team that recorded SDSU’s all-time third-best mark (7:41.56) and the 400 freestyle relay squad that turned in the program’s fifth-best ever time (3:55.68), both at the MWC championships…Had team’s second-best mark in the 200 butterfly, going 206.85 in dual meet at Hawaii…Recorded team’s second-fastest time of the season in the 500 freestyle, clocking 5:01.47 at the conference meet.

High School: Three-year varsity letter winner at Nitro High School in Nitro, W.V...An all-state team honorable mention sophomore and junior year...Holds the state high school record in the 200 freestyle...Qualified for the Junior Nationals in multiple events…Helped the Wildcats capture the state championship title her junior year…Contributed with tow individual victories as well as two relay efforts…Both relays set state records…Team was first female squad in school history to win a state title…Participated at the Y-Nationals in Fort Lauderdale from 1997 to 2001.
