SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State softball team continues its tough early season schedule this weekend when it travels to the Fresno State Classic in Fresno, Calif.
The Aztecs (10-9), who have already played six nationally ranked schools over their 19 games this year, will meet Iowa State (11:15 a.m. PT) and No. 9/8 Oregon (1:30 p.m. PT) on Friday, No. 6/6 California (3:45 p.m. PT) and Saint Mary's (6 p.m. PT) on Saturday and No. 23/rv Oregon State (9 a.m. PT) on Sunday.
Additionally, 11 of SDSU's games have come against teams that made last year's tournament (San Diego State is 4-7 in those games).
The Aztecs are coming off a 2-2 weekend at the San Diego Classic I, where they defeated Brigham Young, 9-1, in five innings and Utah State, 4-1. SDSU's two losses came against Long Beach State (5-4) and No. 12/10 UCLA (7-0).

She also owned a perfect fielding percentage, throwing out all three baserunners who tried to steal on her, en route to being named the Mountain West Player of the Week.

(.368), junior Lorena Bauer (San Diego/Steele Canyon HS) (.356, 5 HR, 18 RBI), Kristin May (.346) and sophomore Kayla Jordan (San Diego/Bonita Vista HS) (.309) are also hitting over .300 for SDSU.
