Was one of three Aztecs (Tamani Wells
and Erin Floros) to start every game ... Was the only player to start every game
at the same position (right field) ... Led SDSU in runs (39), doubles (10),
total bases (80), slugging percentage (.432), walks (27), times hit by a pitch
(tied, 3) and on-base percentage (.392) ... Was second in home runs (3) and
sacrifice bunts (11), and tied with Tonye McCorkle for second with 12 stolen
bases ... Had a team-best 13 game-winning runs (next highest was seven) ... Over
her two seasons she has 19 game-winning runs ... Had been a part of a
game-winning play (hit or run) a team-best 15 times in 2008 ... Hit a solo homer
against Portland State on Feb. 10 ... Raised her batting average .232 percentage

two RBI and a homer in SDSU's 3-0 shutout against No. 6 Texas A&M on March 15
... Came back with two hits in the team's next game against Iowa State (March
17) ... Went 3-for-3 with two runs, an RBI and a solo homer at New Mexico on
April 18 ... Followed that game up with a 2-for-4 outing with two RBI, a run and
a triple against Colorado State (April 19) ... Was 2-for-2 with two runs and an
RBI versus Utah on April 25 ... Had two hits and scored twice to help SDSU
clinch the MWC title with a 9-0, five-inning victory at UNLV on May 9 ... Batted

Hit .667 (12-for-18) with eight runs over a five-game stretch from April 13-18
... SDSU went 21-6 when she scored a run, 12-4 when she drove in a run, 12-3
when she had two or more hits, 6-2 when she stole at least one base and 3-1 when
she homered.
High School: Escondido Earned two letters at Escondido High School
in San Diego, Calif. ... Helped lead the Cougars to Valley League titles in both
softball and tennis ... Softball team also won the CIF championship ... Earned
all-state recognition after her senior softball season and was named the team's
best offensive and defensive player ... Also won the CIF sportsmanship award ...
Was selected as the MVP of the Valley League in soccer and was named all-league
and most inspirational on the team ... Escondido's Female Athlete of the Year
for 2005-06 ... A four-year scholar-athlete ... Member of the National Honor

Calif. ... Daughter of Melisa and John Knudsen ... Majoring in kinesiology and
