Aztecs To Compete In 2005 Mountain West Tournament
*Sixth-seeded SDSU (10-8-2, 2-3-2 MWC) will open up the 2005 Mountain West Conference tournament with a game against third-seeded BYU at 4:30 p.m. PT Wednesday in Las Vegas, Nev. All games will be played at Peter Johann Memorial Field on the campus of UNLV.
*SDSU is 5-5-1 (.500) all-time in Mountain West tournament games and 12-6-1 (.658) in conference tournaments. The Aztecs played in the Western Athletic Conference from 1995-1998 and was 7-1-0 (.875) in the conference's postseason tournament.
*The Aztecs are 21-16-6 (.558) against MWC opponents in the regular season and 26-21-7 (.546) overall (including postseason).
