The San Diego State women's soccer team will honor six seniors and host TCU on Friday in its regular-season finale at the SDSU Sports Deck. Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m. versus the Horned Frogs. SDSU, currently in fourth place in the Mountain West Conference standings, will be seeking to earn a higher seed in the conference tournament with a victory over TCU and some help from other teams in the conference.

SCOUTING THE HORNED FROGS
The Horned Frogs are coming off one of their biggest wins of the season in their last game against Utah and will be looking to even up their mark at 9-9-0 with a victory over SDSU.

After losing back-to-back games to Wyoming and UNLV, 1-0, TCU registered the upset against No. 22 Utah on Friday, 3-0, behind sophomore Lizzy Karoly. Karoly, who scored twice including the game winner, helped the Horned Frogs snap the Utes' 13-game unbeaten streak. For her efforts, Karoly was named MWC Co-Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.

The Escondido, Calif., native is tied with Michelle Nguyen for second on the team with five goals tallied. The duo trails team-leader Jackie Torda who has posted nine scores.

With a stellar performance in net against Utah, freshman Kelsey Walters claimed the MWC Defensive Player of the Week honors. The native of Oklahoma City, Okla., made 10 saves for her third shutout of the season. The game marked only the third time this year the Utes have been held without a point.

Walters has started 12 games, made 75 saves and owns a 1.35 goals against average this year.
