Keane Named a CS360 Primetime Performer
Sept. 24, 2013
SAN DIEGO - San Diego State women's soccer forward Hannah Keane has been named to the College Soccer 360 Primetime Performers Weekly Honor Roll. The award comes a day after being named the Mountain West's top offensive player and just hours after being named College Sports Madness' conference player of the week.
Keane, a junior from Sacramento, was an offensive threat against crosstown foe San Diego and No. 16 Portland. The forward scored twice vs. the Toreros, which included the game-winner, and attempted a game-high five shots with three coming on net. Her third shot on goal nearly gave her a hat trick as it bounced off the crossbar.
In the game vs. the Pilots, Keane was at it again, giving the Aztecs a 1-0 lead with her header in the 39th minute. The 2012 all-MW first-team selection again finished with a game-high five shots, with two coming on goal, and played the entire 90 minutes.
Keane and the rest of the Aztecs return to action Friday night when they start their title defense and open MW action vs. Fresno State. Game time is 7 p.m. PT at SDSU Sports Deck and admission is free. The league tilt will also be streamed live on GoAztecs.com via the Mountain West Network.
