Junior Isabelle Pickett will play for Australia in the IFWLA World Cup this summer.

MELBOURNE, Victoria - San Diego State Lacrosse junior Isabelle Pickett (Adelaide, Australia) will play for Team Australian in the 2013 Women's Lacrosse World Cup, which will be held July 10-20 in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.

Pickett is a former member of the U-19 Australian National team, and has represented South Australia in nine national competitions. She helped lead South Australia to a national championship victory in 2010, and was also a key player on the Brighton Bombers Lacrosse club team that won three-consecutive league championships.

Pickett scored 10 goals and added three assists for the Aztecs last season as a sophomore, along with 12 ground balls, 26 draw controls and seven caused turnovers. In the three games this year, Pickett has three goals and an assist, helping SDSU get off to a 2-1 start to the season.
