SDSU Goes North To The Oregon Duck Invitational
The San Diego State women's golf team travels to Oregon next week for the Oregon Duck Invitational. The two-day, 54- hole tournament will be held from March 27-28 at the Emerald Valley Golf Course in Creswell, Ore. Both days will have an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Four teams in the top 50, according to www.golfweek.com, will be competing at the Duck Invitational. The No. 34 host Oregon Ducks are the top-ranked team in the tournament, with No. 46 Washington State, No. 49 San Jose State and No. 50 New Mexico State also in the field.

Aztec Line-Up For This Week
Freshman Maki Kamimura (West Covina, Calif.) heads into the Duck Invitational with the best stroke average out of the starting five at 78.87. Kamimura finished in 18th at the UNLV Spring Invitational, second among the Aztecs, with a final score of 8-over 224. It was the second tournament of the year that Kamimura finished second for SDSU golfers.

Competing in her seventh tournament of the year, senior Megan Mulhaupt (Trabuco Canyon, Calif.) goes into the Duck Invitational with a stroke average of 79.36. Mulhaupt has finished second on the Aztec `A' team twice this year. Participating in her second tournament of the spring campaign is sophomore Anna Booth (Coffs Harbour, Australia). Booth was part of the Aztec `A' team at the Kitahara Invitational.

Junior Jamie Oliver (Los Alamitos, Calif.) will also be competing in her second tournament of the spring, after shooting an 18-over 234 at the UNLV Spring Invitational. In last year's Duck Invitational, Oliver finished second for SDSU. Oliver currently has a season stroke average of 80.00 in seven rounds of play.

Freshman Petra Cole (San Diego, Calif.) fills out the starting five at the Duck Invitational. Cole currently has a stroke average of 81.17 in 12 rounds.
