Women's Golf Finishes 11th at Edean Ihlanfeldt Invite

SAMMAMISH, Wash. -- The San Diego State women's golf team posted a final-round 318 (+30) on Wednesday to finish 11th at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational in Sammamish, Wash. The Aztecs carded a 54-hole total of 88-over (952) at the par-72, 6,054-yard Sahalee Country Club. Emma Henrikson led SDSU in Washington as the freshman tied for 13th place after notching a third round score of 5-over 77 to finish at 11-over (227). Senior Christine Wong, meanwhile, gained some ground in the standings on Wednesday as she finished in a six-way tie for 34th after firing a 7-over 79 to wrap up play with a 19-over 235. Amy Alston also remained in the top 50 after the sophomore carded a 7-over 79 to finish 48th at 23-over (239). Junior Maureen Dunnagan and sophomore Kristina Lynn rounded out action for the Aztecs as they finished 72nd and 73rd, respectively. Dunnagan shot an 11-over par to finish with a 39-over 255, while Lynn was 12-over par for the day to finish 40-over (256). SDSU will now prepare for a trip to Las Vegas, Nev., for the Las Vegas Collegiate Invitational from Oct. 21-23. Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational Team Scoring 11.
