ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Playing in its first tournament of the 2012-13 season, the San Diego State women's golf team sit alone in 13th place, posting scores of 304 (+12) and 305 (+13) at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational on Monday in Albuquerque, N.M. UNLV leads the 14-team event with a 4-over 588 (293-295). The Rebels are followed by Ohio State (590, 6+), Iowa State (591, +7), Baylor (592, +8) and Northwestern (594, +10). Freshman Emma Henrikson (Malmo, Sweden) made an impressive collegiate debut as she sits tied for 14th place, leading all Aztecs at 147 (+1). Henrikson was followed by last year's Mountain West Golfer of the Year Christine Wong (Richmond, B.C.), whose 151 (78-72) has her at 5-over and in a tie for 36th. Sophomore Kristina Lynn (Carlsbad, Calif.) (77-76 - 153, +7) was tied for 46th while senior Gina Clark (Murrieta, Calif.) (76-82 - 158, +12) and junior Maureen Dunnagan (Lexigton, S.C.) (80-82 - 162, +16) finished Monday in 72nd and tied for 81st, respectively. SDSU will play its final round of the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire tomorrow (Tuesday).
