Women's Crew Assistant Coach Qualifies For Sydney 2000

SAN DIEGO - San Diego State University women's crew assistant coach Amy Fuller qualified this past weekend for the Sydney 2000 Olympics.

Fuller stroked the US women's eight to a silver-medal finish at the Rowing World Championships at St. Cathrines, Canada. The 10-time national member of the U.S. National Team is making her third trip to the Summer Olympics. In the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain, she won a silver medal in the women's coxed four and placed fourth in the women's eight at the '96 Olympics in Atlanta.

MEDIA NOTE: San Diego State Women's Crew will hold a mandatory tryout meeting on Wednesday, September 15 at 6:30 p.m. at "The Backdoor" downstairs in the Aztec Center. Walk-ons are invited to attend.
