Women's Crew Makes Fall Debut

RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. - The San Diego State women's crew team finished fourth in a field of 20 boats in the open eight competition at the Head of American Regatta Saturday at the Cal State Sacramento Aquatic Center on Lake Natoma.

The Aztecs finished the three-mile course in a time of 18:25 with Stanford (18:08), CSU Sacramento (18:13) and California "A" (18:15) making up the top three. The California "B" boat finished a second behind SDSU with a time of 18:26.

SDSU continues its fall schedule Nov. 5 (Sun.) when it hosts the San Diego Fall Classic in Mission Bay.
