Aztec Rowers Wrap Up Season at Pac-10 Championships

LAKE NATOMA, Calif. - The San Diego State rowing team wrapped up its season at the Pac-10 Championships Sunday on Lake Natoma near Sacramento, Calif.. The Aztecs had two boats in action as both competed in the Petite Final of their respective race.

SDSU's Second Varsity Eight boat led the way with a fifth-place finish in the Petite Final with a time of 7 minutes, 23.64 seconds in a race won by Stanford (6:58.32). San Diego State was almost 27 seconds ahead of sixth-place St. Mary's (7:50.21).Earlier in the day, the Aztec boat took sixth in their preliminary heat at 7:21.90.

SDSU's Varsity Eight boat rowed to a sixth-place time of 7:19.79 in the Petite Final after taking sixth in the preliminary heat (7:17.20). Washington State won the Varsity Eight Petite Final at 6:41.95.
