Position:
Assistant Coach

Amy Fuller returns for her second season, bringing her knowledge and vast experience in racing to the San Diego State women's crew program.

Arguably the best female rower in the world, Fuller once again qualified for the Olympics in Sydney in 2000. This past summer Fuller stroked the US women's eight to a silver-medal finish at the Rowing World Championships at St. Catherines, Canada. The 11-time member of the U.S. National Team is making her third trip to the Summer Olympics.

In the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain, she won a silver medal in the women's coxed four and placed fourth in the women's eight at the `96 Olympics in Atlanta. Fuller also competed in the Americas Cup, the world's most prestigious sailing regatta.

Fuller began her coaching career at UC Santa Barbara and the University of Tennessee. Her role as an assistant coach allows her to continue training with the United States Olympic Rowing team that practices in Chula Vista, CA, in preparation for the 2000 Olympics.
