Three Aztec Women's Hoops Players Earn Academic All-Conference Honors

June 26, 2006

SAN DIEGO - Three Aztec women's basketball players, sophomore Kate Eveland and freshmen Audrey Green and Tamika Lipford, were honored for their work in the classroom Monday by the Mountain West Conference. The trio were among 37 SDSU student-athletes to garner academic all-conference accolades.

It is the second such honor for Eveland, who boasts a 3.76 grade-point average in international business. Green and Lipford were both named academic all-conference for the first time in their careers. Green, who is undecided on a major, posted a 3.18 GPA, while Lipford recorded a 3.57 mark in political science.
