-The Records: After a three-game homestand, the San Diego State women's basketball team looks to get back to its winning ways as it concludes its regular season schedule with four of its final six games on the road. The Aztecs have played two of their last three contests against the MWC's top squads and head into Thursday night's game at Colorado State with a 7-14 overall record and 2-6 mark in conference play. One of SDSU's two MWC wins came against the Rams (58-55 in San Diego), who are 13-9 overall and 4-5 in the MWC.
The Aztecs travel to Wyoming Saturday morning in hopes of avenging an earlier loss to the Cowgirls, falling 71-60 back on Jan. 22 at Cox Arena. The Cowgirls are 8-14 overall and 4-5 in league play so far this season.
-SDSU Head Coach Jim Tomey: Tomey (Michigan '81) is in his second season at San Diego State after taking over the Aztec helm on April 9, 2002. His career and Aztec head coaching record is 16-32.
-Colorado State Head Coach Chris Denker: Denker is in his second year at Colorado State and boasts a record of 34-22. His four-year career record stands at 75-40 entering Saturday's match-up.
