CALIFORNIA BANK AND TRUST STUDENT ATHLETES OF THE  WEEK IS WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER Malia Nahinu.
 

• Malia tallied 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks in the Aztecs 68-46 victory over Air Force last Saturday.

• This season Malia leads the team in blocked shots with 32 and the Aztecs are now tied for first place in the Mountain West Conference.

• Last year she ranked second in the Mountain West Conference for field goal percentage and was named to the MW All-Tournament Team.

• Malia is originally from Hayward, CA and is majoring in communications.
