San Diego State Women's Basketball Opens Its Conference Schedule With UNLV
With the 77-68 victory at Sacramento State, SDSU finished with a regular-season non-conference winning percentage at .500 or above for the third straight year. The Aztecs have tallied 8-5 marks over each of the last two seasons, after going 3-9 (1998-99) and 4-8 (1999-00), respectively.
UNLV, meanwhile, travels to Cox Arena with a 9-4 record, having won back-to-back games in Las Vegas last weekend. The Lady Rebels and Aztecs boast one common opponent this season, St. Mary's, which fell to UNLV 68-56, before returning home to down SDSU, 60-47.

The Aztecs and Rebels kick off their conference slates against one another for the second consecutive season, as UNLV defeated SDSU in Las Vegas a year ago.
UNLV finished its pre-conference season with a 9-4 mark, including wins over Loyola Marymount (61-51) and Cal State Fullerton (90-49) last week.
