-The Records: The San Diego State women's basketball team hopes to end its non-conference schedule on a high note in a rare Friday evening contest against first-time foe Texas Pan-American. The Aztecs had a heartbreaking 70-68 loss to Santa Clara Tuesday and are looking for their first victory in their last four outings before heading back on the road for the conference opener at UNLV on Jan. 17.
Texas Pan-American is coming off a 49-47 victory over Sacramento State Wednesday and enters Friday's contest with an even 7-7 mark. The Broncs won their first four games of the year, including a 68-67 win in overtime at Air Force, but have lost seven of their last 10 since.
