SAN DIEGO - The No. 48 San Diego State Men's Tennis team concludes its current four-match homestand against Central Florida on Tuesday, March 5. The match is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. PT at Aztec Tennis Center.

The Aztecs (8-4, 2-0 MW) are coming off perhaps their most impressive victory of the season, defeating No. 16 Cal in a thrilling match, 4-3, on Thursday. SDSU had won four straight matches, and five of its last six, before falling to No. 12 Pepperdine, 4-0, in the second match of Thursday's doubleheader.

Sophomore and reigning Mountain West Player of the Week Thorsten Bertsch has been on a recent hot streak, going 4-1 overall in matches against Boise State, Cal and Pepperdine. Bertsch's doubles partner, junior Hunter Nicholas, went 3-2 during the same stretch, and was named MW Player of the Week on Feb. 20.

Central Florida is 6-5 this season and had won three-straight matches before losing at North Florida, 6-1, on Friday. Following Tuesday's match, the Aztecs will hit the road to Santa Barbara, Calif., for matches against UC Santa Barbara on March 9, and against Utah on March 10.
