San Diego State junior Achim Ceban (Moscow, Russia) posted a straight-set victory Sunday to advance to the semifinal round of the Wilson ITA West/South Regionals in Malibu, Calif.

Ceban will face UCLA's Amit Inbar in tomorrow's semifinal round after posting a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Sebastien Fanselow of Pepperdine.

On the other half of the bracket, Juan Gomez lost his quarterfinal match to Arizona's Jason Zafiros, 6-2, 7-5.

The four schools still represented in the singles bracket are San Diego State, UCLA, Arizona and Pepperdine.
