SDSU Men's Tennis Captures 5-2 MWC Victory Over Air Force

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - San Diego State earned a 5-2 MWC victory over the Air Force Academy on Saturday in Albuquerque, N.M. as the Aztecs swept the doubles contests and then took four of the singles matches. No. 44 Felix Hardt was a winner at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles for the Aztecs, as they improve to 9-6 on the year.
Hardt and Ryan Redondo got SDSU off to a good start with an 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles. Markus Dickhardt and Daniel Jung earned the win at No. 2 doubles, 8-2, and Dontia Haynes and Mike Coelho completed the sweep for SDSU in the third position.
Hardt, ranked 44th nationally, then earned a 6-2, 6-0 victory in singles action. Dickhardt, Jung, and Haynes posted the final three singles victories for the Aztecs to secure the win.
SDSU will continue conference action on Sunday as they take on New Mexico.
