Won his first match of the year at the ITA All-American tournament against Dennis Andrade of Texas-San Antonio, 6-1, 6-3, in the round of 128 in the prequalifying round... Defeated Kaes Van't Hof, 6-3, 6-4, of Southern California in the USD Surf and Volley Challenge... He also beat Oscar Plotnik, 6-2, 6-2, of the host school, USD... At the ITA Western Regionals, he downed San Diego's Matt Ozurovich, 1-6, 6-3, 6-2, in the round of 64.

Doubles - Posted a 5-2 record with junior Benedikt Stronk... In the prequalifying round of 64 at the ITA All-American tournament, the pair beat UAB's Mitovski/Mavrin, 8-5... Won two matches at the USD Surf and Volley Challenge... Defeated USD's Plotnik/Atri, 8-4, and Southern California's Berg/Van't Hof, 8-2... Reached the round of 16 with their win over LMU's Malet/Phillips by a score of 8-5 in the ITA Western Championships.
