Jordan Ongaro has been named to TopDrawerSoccer.com's National Team of the Week.

SAN DIEGO - San Diego State men's soccer junior forward Jordan Ongaro has been named to TopDrawerSoccer.com's National Team of the Week, the website announced Monday.

Ongaro helped the Aztecs post a 2-0 record last week after scoring four goals and adding one assist (9 points) at the UCR/Courtyard by Marriott Soccer Invitational in Riverside, Calif.

In the 3-2 win over Nebraska Omaha, Ongaro scored the first goal of the game in the fifth minute. For the game, he attempted three shots, all of which came on goal. Two days later vs. North Florida, Ongaro scored the second, third and fourth goals of the game en route to a hat trick in just 38 minutes, 23 seconds worth of action (all in first half). Then just before the first half ended, Ongaro assisted on Kody Duff's second of the day, which gave the Aztecs a 6-0 lead in what would be a 9-0 victory. Ongaro finished with nine shots, including seven on goal in just 60 minutes.

For his efforts, the junior was named to the UCR/Courtyard by Marriott Soccer Invitational all-tournament team and enters this week's action with a personal- and team-best 13 points, a career- and team-high six goals and one assist.
