KAUA'I, Hawaii -- The San Diego State men's golf team wrapped up play in its final event of the fall with a 14th place finish at the St. Regis Princeville Warrior-Wave Invitational. The Aztecs posted a final-round 7-over 295 to finish with a score of 24-over (888) at the par-72, 7,233-yard St. Regis Princeville Resort Makai Golf Club in Princeville, Kaua'i, Hawaii. Sophomore Xander Schauffele was SDSU's top finisher for the second time this season, finishing tied for 26th with a 4-over 220 after shooting a 2-over 74 on his final 18 holes. Senior Tom Berry, meanwhile, made a huge leap up the leaderboard after tallying a 1-under 71 for a 6-over 222 to finish tied for 35th place. Aztec junior Austin Kaiser struggled on the final day of competition as he fired a 5-over 77 in the third round to finish tied for 45th with an overall score of 7-over 211. San Diego State's two other golfers also had a tough day. Freshman Kevin Ko notched a 9-over 81 to finish 77th at 22-over (238), while Riccardo Michelini finished in 79th place.
