Aztecs Celebrate Hall of Fame Inductees Saturday Against No. 4 TCU

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State-TCU football game on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 1 p.m. PT is part of Hall of Fame/Aztec Legacy Weekend and Union-Tribune Youth and Family Day at Qualcomm Stadium. The Horned Frogs, which are ranked fourth nationally, will be the highest ranked team to play the Aztecs at home since SDSU played host to No. 1 Miami on Nov. 28, 1992.

Tickets start at $11 and fans are encouraged to bring a Diet Pepsi can to receive $5 off adult admission tickets in the Plaza Corner ($20 areas). There is a limit of four tickets per can, with one can per visit. Groups of 20 or more interested in purchasing tickets in advance should call (619) 594-8392 or (619) 283-7378 for special group rates.

Pre-game celebrations include the Aztec Village and the Student Tailgate. Aztec Village, located in F-1, is free to the public and opens at 11 a.m. It will feature an appearance by this year's 2009 Hall of Fame inductees, a special tailgate for Aztec Legacy members and the Aztec baseball team. The Student Tailgate, in K-2, opens at 11 a.m., and is free for SDSU students. This week the tailgate will feature a Reggae Beach Party theme.

At halftime, the Aztec Hall of Fame inductees and letterwinners will be recognized. The Marching Aztecs show will be followed by a special performance from the California School Fitness group. The Aztec Meal Deal will also be available featuring a hot dog, soda and chips for $6.

San Diego State is coming off a 23-20 victory over New Mexico last Saturday. The Aztecs improved to 4-4, marking the first time San Diego State has been .500 or better this late in the season since the 2003 campaign.

The TCU-SDSU game is being sponsored by Chevron.
