SDSU-Fresno State Game To Be Telecast on ESPN2
Oct. 14, 2013
SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State-Fresno State football game, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26, will be broadcast live nationally on ESPN2 beginning at 7:30 p.m. PT, as announced Monday by ESPN and the Mountain West Conference.
The Aztecs (3-3) and Bulldogs (5-0) are both tied with UNLV (4-2) atop the MW West Division with 2-0 conference records after SDSU posted a 27-20 come-from-behind victory at Air Force last Thursday.
Meanwhile, Fresno State, which earned a No. 17 ranking in the latest AP poll, was idle last weekend following a 61-14 non-conference triumph at Idaho in its last outing on Oct. 5. The Bulldogs will square off against UNLV at home this Saturday, while Aztecs enter their second bye week of the season.
SDSU leads the all-time series 27-21-4 after Fresno State claimed a 52-40 decision in Fresno a year ago. In the last meeting at Qualcomm Stadium in 2011, the Aztecs rallied from a 21-0 second-quarter to emerge with a 35-28 victory, as Ronnie Hillman scored the go-head touchdown with 1:09 left in the contest.
The Oct. 26 clash with the Bulldogs will also mark SDSU's annual Homecoming game, with tickets available for purchase online at www.goaztecs.com, at Qualcomm Stadium Window E (M-F 9 a.m.-5 p.m.) or over the phone at (619) 283-7378 (SDSU).
