SAN DIEGO - Tickets for Friday night's San Diego State home football game against Nevada can be purchased for as low as $7, SDSU athletics announced on Wednesday.
Tickets in the Field South, Plaza North and Plaza Lodge Press End Zone sections that cost $9, are now available for $7. The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. PT, at Qualcomm Stadium.
In addition, if the Aztecs win on Friday night, fans with Nevada ticket stubs can pick up a free Field Level ticket for San Diego State's home game against Fresno State on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Aztec Ticket Office at Qualcomm Stadium Window "E" during normal business hours while supplies last. The ticket office is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT.
The Aztecs have won three straight games against Nevada, including a 39-38 overtime victory on the road last season. San Diego State leads the all-time series, 3-2, and has won seven straight Mountain West Conference games dating back to last season, which is tied for the ninth-longest in-conference winning streak in the nation.
SDSU is coming off a road victory over New Mexico State, 26-16, on Saturday. Freshman running back Donnel Pumphrey (Las Vegas, Nev.) rushed for a career-high 167 yards with three touchdowns to lift the Aztecs to the win.
San Diego State will have three home games remaining on its schedule after Friday, including the homecoming game against Fresno State on Oct. 26, a matchup with New Mexico on Saturday, Nov. 2, during Aztec Hall of Fame weekend, and a senior night game against Boise State on Saturday, Nov. 23.
