Aztecs Open MWC Campaign With Third Road Game in Four Weeks; Play at Air Force on Saturday

San Diego State, which will conclude a season-opening streak that has seen the Aztecs play just one home game in the first third of the 2009 season, faces Air Force on Saturday afternoon in Colorado Springs, Colo., beginning at noon MT/11 a.m. PT.

The game will be televised nationally by The Mtn. and will be simulcast in the San Diego market on Channel 4 San Diego.

The Aztecs are looking to rebound from a 34-20 loss at Idaho last week. SDSU suffered from a pair of turnovers, including an interception that was returned 74 yards for a touchdown. Senior place-kicker Lane Yoshida improved to 5-for-7 in field goal tries of more than 40 yards in his career, connecting on a 47 and 46-yard attempts. Junior wide receiver Vincent Brown posted his fourth consecutive 100-yard receiving day with a career-high 13 catches for 143 yards and senior linebacker Jerry Milling recorded a season-high eight tackles in the game.

Following Saturday's game, the Aztecs will play five of their next six contests at Qualcomm Stadium.
