SDSU Football Single-Game Tickets on Sale Monday
June 23, 2006 SAN DIEGO - Single-game tickets for all six home games for the upcoming 2006 San Diego State football season will go on sale Monday, June 26 at 9 a.m. PT. Fans can purchase individual game tickets, which start at just $10, in person at the SDSU Ticket Office at Qualcomm Stadium (gate E), by phone at 619-283-SDSU and via the Internet at goaztecs.com. The home schedule includes several highly-anticipated games, including Aztec head coach Chuck Long's debut against UTEP on Thursday, Aug. 31. The contest will be televised nationally by CSTV as SDSU will face a Miners squad which advanced to a bowl game last season and is listed in several preseason top 25 polls. For the third consecutive season, SDSU will serve as host for the KGB SkyShow Presented by Barona Valley Ranch on Sept. 23 when the Aztecs open Mountain West Conference play against Utah. A San Diego tradition, the game has been very popular with Aztec fans each of the last two seasons, attracting crowds in excess of 55,000 to see SDSU football followed by the spectacular postgame firework show. Other games on the 2006 home schedule include traditional MWC opponents Colorado State, Air Force and UNLV and the annual homecoming contest against Cal Poly on Oct. 28. All SDSU home games this season will begin at 5 p.m. PT, except the season-opener against UTEP which will start at 7:30 p.m. PT. Aztec season tickets remain on sale and start at just $50, a 46 percent savings over individual game prices. All season-ticket account holders receive a free Aztec stadium blanket and a chance to win a 2006 Ford F-150 truck (one entry per season ticket). 2006 San Diego State Football Schedule
