SAN DIEGO - In what has become an annual tradition, the KGB SkyShow has been scheduled for San Diego State football's 2009 home opener versus Southern Utah on Saturday, Sept. 12. The kickoff time has been moved to 5:30 p.m. PT at Qualcomm Stadium, one hour earlier than previously announced.

This is the sixth season that an Aztec football game has played host to the event, with the previous five contests averaging crowds of 52,724. The first all-time meeting between SDSU and Southern Utah will also be the first home game for Brady Hoke, who was hired as the program's 17th head coach on December 16, 2008.

The remainder of the promotional schedule for the 2009 San Diego State home football season will be announced at a later date.
