CALIFORNIA BANK AND TRUST STUDENT ATHLETE OF THE WEEK IS FORMER SAN DIEGO STATE QUARTERBACK Ryan Lindley

• Ryan recently accepted an invitation to compete in the 2012 Senior Bowl which features the best senior collegiate players in the country. The game is set for Saturday January 28th in Mobile, Alabama.

• Lindley is the fourth quarterback in Aztec history to play in the game. He threw for 3,153 yards and 23 touchdowns this season. He finished the year ranked second in the Mountain West in passing yards per game and third in both completions per game and total offense.

• He has thrown for a total of 12,690 yards during his career as an Aztec which makes him the career passing leader here at State and the Mountain West Conference.

• Ryan grew up in San Diego and will be graduating with a degree in Social Science Teaching.
