San Diego State Head Coach Chuck Long

On quarterback Ryan Lindley's injury:
"I don't know. We'll find more tomorrow. If it's his shoulder, we'll find out more about it before I can give a definitive answer. It was hard for him to throw the football so we decided to sit him for the remainder of the game."

On their performance in the game:
"We're back to the drawing board this week. I'm guessing Drew (Westling) will probably get more repetitions this week, but that's not my only concern. We've got a lot of players that we need to get back healthy right now. We got to find a way to control the clock better, and we can't leave our defense out there that long."

TCU Head Coach Gary Patterson

"We wanted to come out and be 2-0 in the conference, and that's what we did. Our guys were a little disappointed that we didn't get the shutout. I thought we played physical tonight. We had some sacks and put pressure on their quarterbacks."

"You've got to give them some credit. I think defensively they were a lot better than when we played them last year. I think they came here to prove a point and they did. They played hard"
