Highly-touted recruit who is very athletic ... Excellent combination of speed and hands ... Had a solid first season after not playing his first two years (redshirt in 2010 and did not play in 2011) ... Is listed as a starter at the `Z' wide receiver heading into the fall campaign ... Is the team's top returning wide receiver in terms of yards with 319.
2012: Had 17 receptions for 319 yards (18.8 average per catch) ... The 18.8 average was the highest by an Aztec since current San Diego Charger Vincent Brown averaged 19.6 yards per catch in 2011 ... Played in 12 of the team's 13 games, starting four times, including the Poinsettia Bowl vs. Brigham Young ... Earned his first career start and played in his first career game in the team's opener at Washington ... Didn't make a catch, but did have a 9-yard rush ... Had a breakout game against Army with five receptions for 132 yards ... All five catches were for a first down ... He became the 80th player in program history to record a 100-yard game ... 2010: Initially moved to running back during preseason camp, but moved back to wideout before the season got underway ... Ultimately ended up using his redshirt campaign.
High School: Competed on both offense and defense during his time at Wilson High, lettering four times ... Caught 21 passes for 301 yards and four TDs, while gaining 758 yards on the ground and scoring 12 times on 104 rushes ... Also threw a 49-yard touchdown pass ... In the return game, he averaged 21.5 yards with a long of 65 yards on kickoffs and 18.1 yards with a long of 55 on punts ... On defense, he had 30 tackles, three pass deflections, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery ... Started at Wilson as a sophomore ... Was an all-league pick and co-offensive MVP for his team as a senior ... Also competed in track.
