Aztecs Welcome 15th-Ranked Arizona State to Cox Arena for Tuesday Night Showdown on CBS College Sports
San Diego State plays host to its first nationally ranked team since the 2006-07 season on Tuesday night when 15th-ranked Arizona State visits Montezuma Mesa. The non-conference tilt is set for 8:05 p.m. PT and can be seen live on CBS College Sports.

The Aztecs, who are in the midst of a three-game homestand, are coming off a 59-40 victory over UC San Diego on Saturday afternoon. The Sun Devils, meanwhile, opened their season last Friday and come into the game having defeated Mississippi Valley State at home, 80-64.

Game Tidbits:
* San Diego State is looking to move to 2-0 for the third straight season. The last time it happened was 1993-94, 1994-95 and 1995-96.

* The Aztecs will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak to Pac-10 Conference schools. The last time SDSU defeated a Pac-10 team was during the 2006-07 season when it beat California at Cox Arena, 86-79.

* SDSU will look to run its winning streak vs. ranked opponents at home to three. No. 21/22 BYU and No. 15/13 Air Force were the last two opponents to succumb to the Aztecs while owning a national ranking. Oddly enough, both of those games were on CSTV, now CBS College Sports.

* Playing each other for the first time since the 2000 season, San Diego State is looking for its second straight win in the series, something that has happened just four times in 24 all-time meetings.

* San Diego State will be looking to win its first two regular-season home games for the fourth consecutive season.
