SDSU men's and women's basketball single game tickets go on sale Monday, Nov. 3.

SAN DIEGO - San Diego State men's and women's basketball single game tickets will go on sale Monday, Nov. 3. Fans can purchase tickets as early as 9 a.m. PT by logging onto www.GoAztecs.com or by calling (619) 283-SDSU(7378). Those who wish to purchase tickets in person can visit the Aztec Ticket Office at Qualcomm Stadium, Window E beginning at 9 a.m. In addition, tickets will also be available at the Cox Arena box office starting at 10 a.m. Men's tickets start at $12 for limited reserved seats, while women's tickets start at $7.

The Aztec men have a 15-game regular- season home slate scheduled for Cox Arena featuring long-time WAC rival Fresno State, preseason No. 15 Arizona State, San Diego and Big West Conference co-champions UC Santa Barbara and CS Northridge to name a few. Following its challenging non-conference schedule, SDSU will enter Mountain West Conference action and play host to each of the eight other member institutions.

Head Coach Steve Fisher enters his 10th season and will have a team that returns all five starters and its top eight scorers off of a squad that finished 20-13 overall and earned a berth in the postseason last year. Eight times Fisher has inherited a team that he coached the year before that returned at least four starters and all eight times the team has advanced to postseason play (seven NCAA Tournaments and one postseason NIT championship) and won at least 21 games.

The men will make their first appearance of the season in an exhibition game against Point Loma Nazarene on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 7 p.m. PT and will get its regular season underway on Saturday, Nov. 15, vs. UC San Diego at 1 p.m. PT.

The SDSU women, meanwhile, have a 14-game regular season home schedule and will host the 4th annual San Diego Surf `N Slam (Dec. 28 and Dec. 30). The women open their 2008-09 season campaign at home for just the second time in five years, against first-time opponent Northwestern State on Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. PT.

San Diego State returns five starters and eight letterwinners off a 2007-08 team that compiled an 18-12 record, the school's best season in over a decade. Last year, SDSU logged its first-ever MWC Championship victories and its first conference tournament wins since 1997.
