Aztecs Seek School-Record 25th Victory on Friday Against Kansas State at Jenny Craig Pavilion
San Diego State (24-9 overall; 11-5 Mountain West Conference) will look for its 25th win of the season against Kansas State (22-11; 9-7 Big 12) in the second round of the NIT on Friday night. The game is set for 6:30 p.m. PT and will be played at the University of San Diego's Jenny Craig Pavilion. There is no television coverage for the game.

SDSU is coming off a dominating 65-49 victory over Weber State in the first round of the NIT this past Tuesday. The Aztecs received an outstanding performance from Lorrenzo Wade, who posted his second double-double in his last four games with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Kansas State, meanwhile, makes the trip west after a hard-fought 83-79 overtime win over Illinois State Wednesday night.

Game Tidbits:
* San Diego State, which matched the school record with its 24th win of the season on Tuesday, will look to make history on Friday. No team in the history of SDSU Basketball, which dates back to the 1921-22 campaign, has ever won 25 games in a season.

* SDSU takes on the Wildcats with a spot in the quarterfinals up for grabs. The Aztecs have never advanced to the third round of a postseason tournament in their Division I history, which dates back to 1970-71. The last time San Diego State played its way into the third round of a tournament was in 1967 when the Aztecs moved on to the quarters of the NCAA Division II tournament.

* San Diego State is looking to win more than one game in a single postseason tournament for the first time in its Division I history and for the first time since 1967. Coincidentally, both of those game took place in San Diego.
