Played in four games, making three starts before he underwent left knee surgery on Nov. 20... Was announced by Steve Fisher as out for the season prior to the LMU game (11-28-07)... Finished the season as one of four Aztecs to average double figures in points (10.0)... Ranked second on the team in field goal percentage (.552) and fourth in rebounding average (4.8) despite his injury... Scored in double figures twice in his four games played... Joined D.J. Gay as the fifth and sixth Aztec freshmen and the 10th and 11th overall to start a season opener under Fisher... Began his Aztec career with nine points and four rebounds vs. Liberty (11-9-07)... Scored a career-high 12 points and added five rebounds and two steals vs. Portland (11-10-07)... Underwent knee surgery and played in four games his senior season... As a junior, he led his team to a 30-3 overall record, including a perfect 10-0 mark in the Tri-River Athletic Conference (TRAC), and an appearance in the CIF Division I finals where they fell just three points shy of the state title... In that game, the 2005-06 TRAC co-MVP, recorded 15 points and eight rebounds... Guided Clovis West to a 2006 final national ranking of No. 17 by MaxPreps.com, No. 18 in the USA Today Super 25 poll and No. 21 by SI.com... At a regional level, Clovis West finished No. 4 in the USA Today Regional poll and was rated the fourth-best prep team in California according to MaxPreps.com... Was a McDonald's All-American nominee... Helped Clovis West to the CIF Championship in 2004-05... Calhisports.rivals.com listed him as one of the best players in California, while scout.com described him as a slasher, who is physical, a tough defender, has good foot quickness and a well put-together body... Considered Cal Poly, Fresno State, Mississippi State and Wake Forest before choosing SDSU.
