As A Freshman (2006-07 Season)
Played in 23 games, including 16 of the last 20 to close out the year... Only had four turnovers in his last 106 minutes on the court... Was the only freshman of the three on the team to score in both postseason games... Finished sixth on the team in three-point makes with six, but second in three-point field goal percentage (.429)... After playing only 11 minutes total in the first three games, Pastorek logged a career-best 20 minutes vs. UC San Diego (11-15-06) and saw 10 minutes of action against UC Riverside (11-21-06)... Against the Tritons, he scored 13 points on 4-of-6 shooting, including 3-for-4 from three-point distance, grabbed one rebound and blocked his first shot... After not seeing action the previous two games, he logged two minutes at Western Michigan (12-2-06)... Posted four points and career-high two rebounds and two assists in 11 minutes vs. Campbell (12-12-06)... Logged 11 minutes and had three points and a rebound vs. Lafayette (12-30-06)... Played in consecutive games for the first time since playing in the opening four games when he saw two minutes of court time vs. Wyoming (1-3-07)... Saw action in his third straight game at Brigham Young and played 11 minutes... Tied his Aztec career high when he played in his fourth consecutive game vs. Colorado State (1-13-07) and tallied three points and had a personal-best three rebounds in 12 minutes, his most game action since Nov. 15 vs. UC San Diego (20 mins.)... Played in a personal-best fifth straight game vs. New Mexico (1-17-07) and had a pair of rebounds... Logged three minutes at Air Force (1-20-07)... Snagged a career-high five rebounds in 16 minutes at UNLV (1-23-07)... Credited with one rebound in two minutes vs. Air Force (2-6-07)... Played one minute vs. Colorado State at the MWC Championships (3-8-07)... Scored two points, grabbed two rebounds and had an assist in eight minutes in the first-round NIT game at Missouri State (3-14-07)... Saw four minutes of action in the second-round NIT game at Syracuse (3-19-07) and connected on 1-of-2 free throws.
High School
Grew nine inches during his prep career and helped lead his team to a 22-9 record and 7-3 Century League mark as a senior... Capped his final season ranked second in rebounds (304) and blocks (61)... Averaged 12.6 points per game in 2005-06 to rank No. 10 in the Century League... As a junior, he guided Canyon to an 18-9 overall record and a 7-3 effort in league play... He led the conference in blocked shots as a junior... Played for Nate Harrison and Matt Dale while at Canyon... Pastorek owns a 4.0 grade-point average and also visited Princeton and UC Santa Barbara.
